Dinner in St. Albans last night - salmon fillet, rice and mushrooms with the beautiful, wonderful and cuddly [livejournal.com profile] arkady. Tonight I am listening to [livejournal.com profile] redcountess and [livejournal.com profile] missyk8 playing Grim Fandango.

We seek to attend B-Movie on Friday. Go do [livejournal.com profile] redcountess's poll! I put out for *pint*s!

If you love me, you'll get me this.

I can get those for $5 US at MicroCenter (http://www.microcenter.com/) pretty routinely (during the week after a local computer show, which are vaguely monthly), or for more like $2.50 US if I get unlazy enough to show up at the computer show.

I've got like five around the house, just to have spares (I'm only using two; one at home, one at work). PS/2 connections, though, not AT.

You can probably find one more proximal, but if you want to pay shipping from Philadelphia, PA, US, I'm glad to send you one (or several).

The site only takes Visa, Mastercard or cheque, not Solo - but I'll willingly buy you one.

Just for the record, I wouldn't want to step in the way of true love or anything, but it seems kind of silly to lay out that kind of price for the thing.

So maybe somebody can show their love for you by paying me back for shipping.

The appropriate @livejournal.com email address for me should work.

Say, I have an IBM bucklespring with Swedish layout under my fingers right now. Originally shipped with an IBM X-terminal, back way back and rescued from an unloving company (the other X terminal was just standing in a corner, doing nothing, but I wasn't allowed to rescue the screen and actual X terminal).

Don't panic; the One True Keyboard's design has been sublicensed and is still in production - I forget to who, but I'll check my work bookmarks. They also make a non-buckling-spring version for degenerates; and they also make them in black.

I'd have one, except we've got two True Keyboards here already.

I have acquired an original IBM keyboard from Sava.

Free, gratis, for nothing - and it's sitting here in the annex with me. Sava assures me it's in full working order.

It's yours. :-*

Nice of Universal to throw their weight behind auctioning gig/tour tickets on eBay. It's just one crap idea after another with them, isn't it?
