arkady has some Whitby October 2003 pics up on Fotopic (thanks to @lien, who was plugging it a lot at Whitby).

Thursday and Friday: I got my Whitby flu in early, which strongly encouraged me to actually rest and relax for a while. redcountess was particularly unwell, so we happily did not a lot.

Saturday: Lee Ann came over and we went to Slimelight. Got about forty-five minutes' serious gothercise in, courtesy djpsyche. Hello to zenmeisterin. Remarkably uncrowded, both from Whitby comedown and people with the actual flu, not just the Whitby version - get your flu shot, okay? We stayed till about two and I only drank about half my vodka. A cup of cranberry juice costs one pound. I also smoked my first clove in a week. Mmmmm.

Sunday: Down the pub. Then dinner with Liz and Lee Ann.

Monday: Return to work. I have few words for how much I despise working for a living. Just because it's less worse than having no money at all does not make it good.

Tuesday: arkady visiting. Huge veggie pasta dinner. This is the correct way to live.

All being well, redcountess, arkady and I plan to attend B-Movie on Friday. We are all po', so any *pint* subsidy we can attract would be most welcomed.

Well, I'm going to start early for the next one. I am coming; I will pay for anyone who gives me and possibly a nice friend of mine who is not an axe murderer crash space. I consider Arkady's boots nice, but only in a strictly Platonic - no, look, I actually mean she sometimes wears nice boots.
