Apparently this technology was originally tested on rats. They all starved to death as they were too engrossed in pressing the 'pleasure button' to remember to eat.

I suspect this might be true of many humans also.

Have you got reference for that?

I've heard the same thing about rats given access to a button to trigger dopamine after their reuptake had been inhibited. That isn't what this guy's trying to market as an "orgasm machine", is it? Because, really, that's more like a straight Ecstacy drip, but not exactly orgasmic...
