It's been a quiet week. I've been back at work and seem to be doing okay. I've mostly kept off the weight I lost when I had the flu, by a process of exercise (up and down sixteen floors of fire escape at work; lots of situps and back exercises at home) and trying not to eat vast quantities of crap. Trim, taut and svelte! I must go out again soon to swan around.

redcountess and I have been speaking to the money dealers. Rather than various small debts, we now have ONE BIG FUCKER. But we do get to ceremonially cut up the Australian credit card. Woohoo!

(The terms of the loan include that you must spend it on what you said you wanted it for. One of the things we listed was an Australian holiday. So I guess we gotta! Accomodation is looking problematic and expensive - anyone got a spare room they can rent us for a coupla weeks?)

I'm perpetually tired from post-viral buggeration. redcountess is getting over a cold and having a few bouncy and healthy days. arkady is in remarkably good health and is starting back at work this evening.

I have become a terminal Wikipedia whore.

I plan to celebrate thirty-seven years on Earth in a pub somewhere on Sunday 22nd February. Keep that afternoon and evening free.

Ah....the ceremonial cutting up of the credit cards. Nothing beats it!
Mine was on the Soft Furnishings fabric measuring counter at David Jones Bourke St store. In front of witnesses. Oh, you _need_ witnesses, you really, really do. The reaction is priceless!
