You know how you can't buy Miracleman anywhere on the face of the earth? Anon delivers.
Wikimedia blog: So what does Flagged Revisions actually feel like?
NotN: about a week's worth. Go read anything you haven't.
Yesterday, I had a shower, got out, caught my left nipple ring on the towel rack and OW FUCK AGH RIPPED IT CLEAN OUT. It had migrated to the surface, so not an A&E job — there was only skin for it to rip thorugh. But FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUU ... It's not stinging, was clean (fresh out of shower) and is now bruised and healing. Probably can't be repierced for another year or two. So much for my usual clubbing outfit!
A coupla nice dates with
nyecamden going to decadent pits full of perverts. Quite nice, really.
Unemployment continues and goes GRIND GRIND GRIND. Bah. I have literally no money, so don't expect to see me anywhere. GISSA JOB.

If I can be bothered I was going to reply to the consultation (link - for all the good it won't do); I was tempted to write my response in all caps, "I THINK ITS QUITE OVIOUS THAT THIS LAW IS STUPID".
A bit depressing that despite her found-to-be-a-pirate-herself goof, she's now apparantely got the FAC in support of the law, albeit with "restriction" rather than disconnection. And we're supposed to feel still sorry for the "vitriol" she received, whilst she was happy to post James Allan's rant about "fat fucks"...

Date: 2009-09-27 01:42 pm (UTC)Also the rights issue that has bedeviled it is, as I understand, very close to being resolved and so there is a strong possibility of a new edition being printed, hopefully including Neil Gaiman's "Silver Age" continuation of the Alan Moore series.

Date: 2009-09-27 01:44 pm (UTC)Yes, Marvel itself has apparently bought the rights. So will the rerelease be called Marvelman or Miracleman?
