Snow cuffs on my wrist.

Apparently it SNOW!!!ed last night. I was on a date with arkady — some fast-food chicken and a couple of quiet pints in the Dev. The usual midweek crowd — every single one of whom, for a few moments after stumbling in off the Kentish Town Road skating rink, continued doing a black ice duck walk as far as the bar.

Today's — and last night's — heart starter exercise was the slow walk between Arkady's house and St. Albans City station. My leg muscles are displeased at being used in ways that only happen once a year. But I did not fall on my arse once.

This is redcountess's first proper snow ever, and she is appropriately thrilled!

Other than that, gosh! redcountess and I are adapting to the new computer spare room. DVDs365 are the best video shop in the world and we heartily recommend them. blarglefiend tracked down recent Slash source for Rocknerd. I don't have a domesticity icon I like yet. The most annoying side-effect of Wikipedia is looking for "Edit this page" links on badly-written pages elsewhere on the web.

To satisfy my adoring public, I can reveal that I may or may not have had SEX!!! at some time in the past week or two.

Remember, I told you when you saw snow for the first time last year that I'd seen it before, and was amazed you hadn't been to the snow while living in Melbourne!

I haven't! this is shameful considering my five and a half years in Melbourne and two years in London. It did snow very briefly once when I was there, but not enough to even hit the ground.
