I bumped into vikinghugs on the tube in. He was off to an evening of bouncing a Mayfair club for aggressive drunken normals. I can't tell you how much he was looking forward to it. Goths are remarkably better-behaved. Or at least they don't try to kill each other and passers-by.

We had a Top Night at the Disco. I arrived around 9:30pm, in time for my five quid to go to the bands, and saw Jack's Family and Skelliga. alixandrea is blessed with a voice not unlike a laser cannon. arkady decided a spot of rock'n'roll would indeed be just the thing to compensate for a day of lusers. We guzzled vodka and danced like overenthusiastic goth robots for hours on end, mostly courtesy the fine EBM selections of nils. Who played "Beautiful Skies" by Deathboy.

The mesh top is a hit, though I may need nipple-strengthening exercises before wearing it out again. I suppose that was the desired effect.

(I've lost enough lard that I can now put on or take off the thirty-six-inch-waist jeans I bought last April without undoing them. I think I need to go belt shopping.)

Today I am Comprehensively Buggered. I think housework and tidying will be the order of the day. There's also redcountess's hair to redye.

Update: arkady appears to have lost her glasses at Slimelight last night (she took them off and put them in her bag during Skelliga and we've noticed they're not in her bag just now). Could have been near the bar or something. They're small half-frame things and probably coated in slime. Who do we contact at Electrowerkz to ask?
