I feel like a hamster running late on his wheel. After three days of a throat infection and staggering around the flat good for approximately 0, I am back at work and (a) catching up on three missed days (b) doing handover to the contractor who will be covering for me while I'm away. I would not be here if not for the latter.

It has, however, been wonderful to spend three days hanging out with redcountess. It's definitely my ideal lifestyle; I just need to work out how to keep them giving me money. Last night we watched the Powerpuff Girls Movie. It is THAT GOOD. Ask Liz about the expression on my face all the way through.

We have solved a series of chicken-egg problems to get Winders onto the laptop. Just a few more to go. I'm learning things about DOS configuration files that I was hoping to go my whole life without picking up.

Then there's dishes to do, a house to clean, an arkady to spend time with, accommodation to nail down solidly, and a day to save. Before bedtime.

I can pretty much picture the expression. Probably similar to the one you had when I showed you that site of PPG pics, only more so. Heh. You're such a cute big kid. :-)

(I have just woken up and am trying to restrain myself to light'n'fluffy matters right now. Yes I know it's 3pm. I didn't sleep until 9am.)

I've only been crawling in to work this week because I don't get any cover while I'm away next week and I want to avoid having a nervous breakdown when I come back.

So I have to be at the airport in approximately 12 hours, have yet to start packing and my cold is making me just want to curl up and die.
