About to leave. I hope like hell we're okay with baggage weight limits. Liz's family and severina_242 should be there to see us off. Apologies to all those we haven't caught up with. We still love you! Come to Britain!

There may be an intuitive interface for modern washing machines; I've yet to meet it. blarglefiend's certainly doesn't qualify. Matt, there's the last of your detergent in there waiting. We could not work out how to use it without the manual. At all.

Yeah, it's not the most obvious bit of kit in the world. It's not so bad once you get the basics, but I've yet to be able to remember how to use the timer function five minutes after reading the manual.

Good thing it's an otherwise nice machine.
