Saturday I went to the Wikipedia (motto: Unemployed Ph.D Deathmatch!) meetup. redcountess was too ill to attend, but arkady came with me, and vampwillow was there and undoubtedly many other people with LJ usernames. We worked out the secret cabal to take over the WORLD using an open-content encyclopedia. Assuming no-one reverts the change.

We have wireless! We also have DVD, but it crashes Windows 2000 in stream.sys. Meh. We'll be trying again with 98.

My cloves have arrived! With no duty on them! I strongly recommend getting the tins. (Three tins of fifty for US$33, which was charged at £18.74, so that's about £6.25 a tin.) And they are so cute! Mind you, they've finally started labelling them. 35 milligrams. Holy fuck.

Update: Liz has diagnosed the stream.sys problem: the Margi card software blithely trashes the system version and replaces it with a buggy old one. Well done! "This is halloween/Halloween/Halloween ..." Of course, it's still crashing.
