Anyone in need of a mattress? One not designed for malevolent dwarves? We have a super-king mattress for sale. It's 180cm×200cm (6'×6'6") and the only reason I'm not sleeping on it now is that this flat comes with a bed. It's for sale because we have nowhere to put it and neither does the old house it's still at. I bought it from Argos, who sell the base as well if you don't have one. I paid £250. So it's £125 or offer. You have to fetch it from Hendon yourself. Email me.

I should note more about my weeks so as to aid future recall. Tuesday was technomentalist pints in Islington in a pub with WiFi, which led to geeks threatening to download Buffy episodes to accompany our beer. We scared the barmaid. Wednesday was a quiet night in with [livejournal.com profile] redcountess. Thursday was dinner at [livejournal.com profile] arkady's. Friday was a visit from [livejournal.com profile] ali_anarres and her introduction to the world of pet rats. The rats are much more used to us and like coming out to play. Saturday was a game of Monopoly with Liz and Rose, which I somehow won. Sunday was beer and comics at [livejournal.com profile] kitty_goth's, something that must be done again. Probably starting mid-afternoon, or maybe the previous day. And remembering to bring drinkable beer and never to rely on directions to an off-licence from Kitty.

KaZaA Lite on FreeBSD stays up maybe an hour at a time (either dies of something trying to free() a NULL pointer, or just hangs) because Wine is essentially an alpha and KaZaA is crapware. An automatic restart script, maybe. I should give WinMX a spin as well.

OpenOffice for FreeBSD remains somewhat less than functional. Best option at present appears to be the Linux binary under compatibility. I will give this a go when I'm feeling stronger.
