We have come to bless this house.

Extreme Spamming: live in person.
Monday: A visit from sheridanwilde - if
redcountess can't get out to the world, the world can come to her! He
was rather a fan of our broadband connection.
Tuesday: redcountess went to see The Matrix:
Reloaded with
sheridanwilde. I sat at home, happily
g33k1ng.
Wednesday: A Red Raw Meat dinner, courtesy arkady. With
mushrooms and chips.
Thursday: Feeding the lovely erzibet at the Home for
Distressed Gentlegoths. If you see the Melanie, feed it.
Friday: A Quiet Night In with Liz after a week of goth visitation. We spent the evening watching film trailers off the Apple Trailers site. We are so seeing Bubba Ho-Tep and Once Upon A Time In Mexico. Here's to broadband!
Saturday: It's a neeew fridge! Even smaller than its predecessor, but hopefully of greater temperature stability. The old one is sitting out the front, giving our flats the proper Walthamstow ambiance. (I put a sign on it to reassure the neighbours it will in fact be removed today.)
We had many events planned for Saturday, but Liz's health deserted us, so
it was just me at cyberneph's twenty-first birthday drinks. To which many fine
souls showed up -
poggs,
missyk8 (out shopping with
Mrs k8),
fluffymark,
_nicolai_,
bootpunk,
shadow_jess,
sartori666,
jezebel_z
and many others I don't have an LJ name for. I drank a pint of Stella for some
stupid reason (impatience with the pouring time of Guinness, I think). Won't
do that again.
Prior to this I stopped at the Dodgy Doc Martens Stall in Camden Market and got some shoes. Royal Mail surplus, ridiculously comfortable, twenty-five quid. Just the thing for when I GO POSTAL.
Sunday: A Quiet Day In with Liz and arkady. Liz spent
all day ticking off Amazon recommendations and scoring nickels for trivia. I did housework and looked purty.
Today: I am doing an appalling amount of work in between reading LJ. This will not do at all. Later I shall be feeding leftovers to the loved ones.
