What an unbelievably wonderful B-Movie! Here are the photos, including the process of me getting made up.

[livejournal.com profile] redcountess was ill with the last of a cold, so missed both Neil Gaiman and B-Movie; [livejournal.com profile] arkady and I went in her stead. Possibly just as well; the weather is colder, so B-Movie was very crowded when we arrived at 9:30pm, and stayed this way until at least one. (Even I had to go outside for air at one point.) I expect this will hold through winter.

We found seats (courtesy [livejournal.com profile] _nicolai_), [livejournal.com profile] arkady did my makeup for the public amusement and, a pint and two cloves later, I was pretty much capable of speech and socialising. Danced to "Into The Valley", "Rain" and "Beers, Steers and Queers". [livejournal.com profile] childeric is a Dance Floor Rock God.

[livejournal.com profile] lproven's new goatee is very silly. But I was introduced to [livejournal.com profile] theladyeve at last.

My wonderful breastage was horribly mistreated all night. Particularly when people GRABBED hard enough to pull at the nipple ring underneath and still didn't let go at the yelp of pain! From now on, it's a *pint* to cop a feel. Probably.

(At Whitby April 2002, [livejournal.com profile] ciphergoth traumatised me with his expensive silicone fake breast forms that looked like uncooked chicken fillets and wobbled like a Doctor Who special effect. These have come down in price stunningly, and I think they might be on the shopping list. It certainly beats being told my breasts feel grainy.)

[On the other hand, they are in fact kitty toys.]

We thank [livejournal.com profile] ciphergoth, [livejournal.com profile] greap, [livejournal.com profile] purple_terror, [livejournal.com profile] _nicolai_ and [livejournal.com profile] damerell for pintage. Spitfire on tap!

Crash space was provided for [livejournal.com profile] _nicolai_ and [livejournal.com profile] owdbetts.

Special kisses to [livejournal.com profile] t_werevyrn, [livejournal.com profile] fluffymark, [livejournal.com profile] kmazzy, [livejournal.com profile] emarkienna (who I thought was a girl when we saw him walking ahead of us on the way there - excellent legs, young man!), [livejournal.com profile] cyberpunkgrrl, [livejournal.com profile] lnr, [livejournal.com profile] d_floorlandmine and [livejournal.com profile] flickgc.

[livejournal.com profile] fluffymark covered me (and several other people) in red lipstick.

From the Observer: 'Shoot-to-kill' demand by US

"The issue of immunity is one of a series of extraordinary US demands turned down by Ministers and Downing Street during preparations for the Bush visit. These included the closure of the Tube network, the use of US air force planes and helicopters and the shipping in of battlefield weaponry to use against rioters ..."

Having an arse this lazy, I've succumbed to the ardent shilling of @lien and signed up with fotopic.net - [livejournal.com profile] arkady has been using it and says it's fatally easy. And she's right. The collection is at http://reddragdiva.fotopic.net/ and the first gallery up is B-Movie: The Mummy's Tomb. Labelling errors or pics you hate, please let me know.

([livejournal.com profile] arkady still has the pics from the August special extra B-Movie - the one with the Macarena shots - which shouldn't be long now these are up. I shall also look through my past un-uploaded collections.)

Update: [livejournal.com profile] arkady has put the B-Movie: Class Of Nuke 'Em High (Saturday 23rd August) pics up. Macarena shots: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
