[livejournal.com profile] sushidog posted a great question on office totty. So, in the interests of comment-whoring: [Poll #584274]

Please tell your most entertaining office totty stories in the comments.

I have slept with one person I met at work, although she technically wasn't a co-worker at the time. It didn't form a relationship because she was nowhere near as keen on me as I was on her. Ah well. It appears ex-totty (and ex-punks and ex-rock'n'rollers) all ends up in local government — there's a lot of people here who clearly used to be the prettiest one.

Update: Damn, I forgot a poll option: Are you the office totty? How do you know? Or are you just the only one there who appears to have heard of not looking like a sack of shit? And is there someone at work you desperately want to fuck, no matter how bad an idea it obviously is? And is there anything else obvious I've forgotten?

Malaise [livejournal.com profile] sarcaustik has few good words for Keira Knightley's acting. I can't say I've noticed. Mmmm, eye candy. I picture a movie starring Keira Knightley in a white corset and Kate Beckinsale in a black one. We'll call it Keira Knightley In A White Corset And Kate Beckinsale In A Black One. Plot ideas, anyone?

Update: 15-rated at most, no nudity. Creativity, please!

Update 2: Now a major motion picture!

I left work at four sharp yesterday and dashed home to take the kitaens for their first vetting. Their copious sloppy poo is apparently quite normal and not a worry as long as they're their normal crackbaby selves. They got their first shots, worming and Advantage, which you can now start cats on at eight weeks. Neo weighs 1.4kg (about right) and Madam weighs 1.1kg (tiny, but as long as she's healthy and active there's nothing to worry about — though it'll make spaying her difficult before six months). Claire at the vet's appreciated the story of Neo's name. I got them home, kissed [livejournal.com profile] redcountess, squared the circle, moved a mountain, made ITV 1 watchable, brought about lasting peace in the Middle East, cleaned the litter tray, fed the kitties, called [livejournal.com profile] arkady and left for our date. Aaand exhale.

Arkady and I wandered Soho and Covent Garden far too long in the futile search for somewhere with edible food and drinkable beer that didn't have a fifty-minute queue. We gave up and went to Camden to hit Belgo Noord (Belgo Centraal having had the queue problem) and the Dev.

This morning I went to the dentist to get the permanent caps for my front teeth ... my appointment is next Thursday. Duh. Drool.

Tonight I was considering a quiet night in with Liz and the kitties. However, Liz has emailed to tell me that (a) one of the bags of sugar in last night's groceries had burst and the dustbuster's battery is flat (it evidently loses its charge on the bedpost overnight), (b) Neo has been using the storage space in the back of the bathroom as a toilet, so everything will have to be taken out, cleaned or thrown out and lemon cleaner or lemon juice spread all over the affected area. (That would explain the residual odour). w00t. I'd rather be thinking about the movie, really.
