The rhythm of her walk, it's beautiful.
Jan. 30th, 2006 12:27 amGoodness! (Apparently I'm up against Charles Dickens.)
redcountess remains very unwell, so I've been home all weekend. I've been pottering about online and sporadically tidying.
I did get the Merry Chanukahmas! pics of narnee's visit up. I have also just dug out the bag of undeveloped film from three to four years ago, which I really should put in some time. Recommendations of competent developers would be welcomed. I'm looking for someone who won't just give it to the bored and underpaid sixteen-year-old trainee they showed how to work the machine last week — these will probably need a good kicking.
GIMP's defaults are annoying me. (That's gimp.app on MacOS X.) I would like to tell it to remember that how I like my JPEGs (optimised, progressive, quality 85, DCT float) and to resample using cubic rather than linear. We're in a world of stupid amounts of CPU and I think any machine that will be displaying these pictures can afford to use some floating point on a JPEG.
