Stay classy, LiveTwitFace:
An LJ staffer using his staff admin powers to leave a creepy comment on a locked post (difficult, but possible; he did have database access at the time) and showing it to other staff members for their amusement.
(He claims he didn't actually unlock the post, he just found it lying there inexplicably unlocked; given he admits the rest and has means, motive and opportunity, I find it difficult to extend him the benefit of unreasonable doubt.)
An LJ staffer busted using a sockpuppet to troll the latest news post telling people he's going to crosspost their stuff just to piss them off. (Archive.)
People say "oh, it's all those Russians, the US LJ staff are nice people." But the actual available evidence of behaviour strongly suggests that, for your own safety, you should regard anyone who's still working for LJ as actively dangerous to your safety unless they have amazing character references and a truly spectacular excuse to still be there.
The staffer who twiddled the database to comment on a locked post is still working for them instead of his stalker ass being thrown out onto the street so hard he bounced twice. LJ allows its staff to treat your private entries as a perk of the job. Think about whether it's safe even commenting on LJ.
