I just survived Crassmas top-up shopping at Liverpool Street Station. I failed to find Lush, in the search for a smelly thing for [livejournal.com profile] arkady's daughter, but that's probably just as well, as I overheard two women talking about how one had waited in the queue there for half an hour and given up.

I did pass Claire's and see the w0rngest gift of the season: chrome play handcuffs. With little pink hearts stencilled onto them. £2.50. And remember, these are aimed at the young teenage girl market. No, I did not get them.

That icon reminds me of Amenadiel from Mike Carey's Lucifer.

Last year at some card shop on Oxford Street I saw a Purple Ronnie "flogger". OK, the thing was so light and pathetic and would fall apart if ever used, but it was a flogger and branded with the same name used to advertise Ribena, greetings cards and other stuff - and has crappy poetry!

Yes, I did buy one for Tori :-)

Ah yes, that's right. I tried to smash the memory out of my brain, and managed to forget whatever it was that Purple Ronnie was trying to advertise.

Failed to find Lush? Was your nose not working properly, then? :)

Probably either shut down in defence or ran off screaming.

Reminds me of what I got my daughter for her 17th birthday: "My First Vibrator", a lovely slim Barbie-pink job with purple butterflies and hearts on it.
