Spring sprung in one leap yesterday and I have changed my journal name back to "Plant bukkake." The BBC's Plant Bukkake Index is not running until April 1st.

Last night, [livejournal.com profile] arkady and I went to the Dev. Cavey Nik has damn fine taste in music. The Dev's 3D animated walking vampire girly has a crinkling crotch. Hi to [livejournal.com profile] gothbabe (borrower of clove smoke!), [livejournal.com profile] kitty_goth and [livejournal.com profile] flavius_m. We had dinner at Wagamama beforehand, where we saw [livejournal.com profile] valkyriekaren and [livejournal.com profile] wechsler in passing, and I had the unfortunate joy of seeing an authentic Camden fashion disaster. Not one of the lower orders, but someone who looked and sounded like a cashed-up upper-middle-class student or similar. This is the next stage after low-cut jeans with a thong:

I expect her name is Dawn.

I couldn't see what was written there. Arkady flatly refused to turn around and see what was affecting my dinner. Wobble, squish, wobble.

[livejournal.com profile] redcountess has ordered our DSL from Zen. We were going to go with Eclipse again, but she balked at the muppetry of the sales and customer service departments. Zen also happen to give us a static IP (eight if we want them) and a gig of web space, so expect me to be serving up experimental goodies from home.

On Wednesday, Liz went to see Judas Priest. I accompanied her to Hammersmith and sat in the pub in the tube station shopping centre reading my new book and frantically scribbling notes.

Tuesday we geeked around the house.

Monday I went shopping with Arkady, getting a week's groceries and visiting Homebase. Where I bought potting mix and a spray bottle and Arkady stocked up for the assault on the garden.

Last Friday was B-Movie, attended with Arkady and Diva-kun, who was the hit of the night. (You should have heard [livejournal.com profile] duranorak!) We were both Utterly Buggered, but lasted till about midnight. I also had my new ballet tights from Arkady under the PVCs, all the way from Russia, and which actually fit me. If you're going to buy ballet gear, it should have Cyrillic lettering.

Last Tuesday (Mar 8th) was [livejournal.com profile] karen2205's Borders salon, with a pile of people. Saw [livejournal.com profile] ewtikins for the first time in ages. Her fringe was a truly remarkable purple.

Two weeks ago's Wednesday (Mar 2nd) I helped Arkady clean her house.

Two weeks ago's Tuesday night (Mar 1st) I went to [livejournal.com profile] karen2205's Borders meet with Arkady. Also present were [livejournal.com profile] hairyears and [livejournal.com profile] neonchameleon.

Two weeks ago's Monday night (Feb 28th) Liz came out to the Dev! In honour of [livejournal.com profile] needler and [livejournal.com profile] nadnad gracing our foul city. I had a very good and motivating chat to Needles about the joy of being a small business proprietor. Expect my conversation over the next few years to become very focused and dull indeed.

I need to write up the past two or three weeks day by day, not just for your entertainment but for my memories.

There is a dance shop in Seven Dials, I forget the name of the shop, that stocks ballet tights in sizes that will likely fit. £35 for a pair of fishnets is steep but I've had mine for months and they're still in good nick, they're very robust. They're made by Danskin. I have the 'tall' size and it is almost too tall for my 6', and they make a 'very tall' (and I think a 'very very tall' as well).

Its terribly hard not to bore people with buisiness stuff when you work for yourself!
However, you have that smug delight of not being able to contribute to pathetic conversations on which office monkey did what or what the quality of the office toilet paper is!
Goodluck and go for it, the only thing that can hold you back is self doubt and tbh I don't think you know the word 'doubt'

:)

I'm not sure I blame [livejournal.com profile] arkady at all.... I'm just glad I've already eaten my lunch.

Christ, there's no point in hiphuggers if you don't have HIPS to hold them up!

I swear, if i want to look at a girl's underwear or ass, i'll take her pants off. This fashion trend is abhorrent.

"Excuse me, love, but are you a tradesman? Or do you just like it that way?"
