I got into system administration because it was the closest thing to a day job I thought I could do without going postal in about three months. The money is nice too.

I haven't programmed anything more complicated than a shell script with a condition in twelve years.

My real superpower is my Jobsian Reality Distortion Field. I have the power of Bullshit to such a degree that people are inspired to work to make it not bullshit. I need to find a cult of suitable moral integrity to start. One that pays a livable income. That's my current quest. Being able to work computers and tell them how to do things needs to be pressed into the service of that.

You're serious? Good. Brace yourself. You need to be Management. Time to focus on learning how programming design is done, and how projects are run.

To answer more seriously, I read that and see "You're cute and good in bed, you should become a prostitute." I'm talking more about something to do for me. If it involves money it'll have to be as an entrepreneurial product.

And I *like* those Reality Distortion Fields . . . I may have a slight case of one myself, although it tends to involve driving *me* into exhaustion when working on a totally unrealistic project . . . but it all comes out right in the end!!
