From bed to sink and back again.

*pint*s galore to vatine (always get a random Swede to help with Ikea), who showed up this evening with a drill and a collection of every drill bit you could ever need for anything whatsoever. We put bolts right through to hold the plates the central steel bar is suspended from. I'm glad I didn't just get a replacement part from Ikea, because the headboard end was going as well. We'll be sending photos of the problem to Ikea as a suggested design improvement.

Today I slept. Sleep is good.
