SNOW!!!

Last night I got mugged, for the first time ever. Five odious little scrotes after what they could get. I'm fine, just very pissed off. HULK WRITE STERN LETTER. One punched me (they scattered when I swung back), breaking a filling. They got my headphones. My laptop hit the pavement and has a pile of scuffs and a really bad hole and crack in the case, but that's why work has insurance. The police popped around and were very nice and helpful. Dentist on Friday.

I stopped at the poundshop today and got £1 in-ear 'phones. They're pink with diamantes on them. "Stylish earphones with fab bling!" says the package. Surprisingly, they're complete shit. Who'da thunk?

Lunch with nyecamden today. He was just the tonic.

We have shown Freda "here is the church here, is the steeple, open the doors and there's all the people." BEST GAME EVER, BETTER THAN TV.

You are much more efficient at not losing all that much than some of my coworkers in Philadelphia -- five of them, robbed by two guys who claimed they had guns (not a usual problem in your country). Go you for swinging back, sorry about the tooth and the lost earphones.

Kathy's response was "Are they still there? Let's go get them!"; I will admit my instinctive response was "Let me grab my sword and I'll join you!" Instead we settled for the far less exciting but far more legal approach of calling the police instead.

(Kathy being my 14-year-old who's had quite a few run-ins with the local gangs, including breaking the collarbone of one gang member.)
