• I find myself suddenly transported to Walthamstow High Street.

We spent Tuesday and Wednesday cleaning the house, with the vital assistance of arkady. Thursday we had the house inspection and it lasted about five minutes. We also got to whine about every single broken thing, including the owner's-nightmare cracked concrete under the bath acting as a conduit for damp.

Yesterday we saw a fox sitting outside in the back yard! Just lying in the sun, resting and sleeping a bit. Looked quite young.

I have another job interview on Monday Tuesday. The pace seems to be picking up. miss_soap, I should finally be able to bring you trousers. Sorry for the delay.

We just get American oppossums and salamanders in my Philadelphia back yard along with squirrels and birds and occasional stray cats.

Foxes are good guys unless you have young kittens outside.

Around here the cats and foxes tend to battle. Foxes are bigger and wilder, but the local cats defend their territory strenuously.
