One for the fluffy bunnies (so to speak).

redcountess just called me into the lounge, telling me to be very quiet.
That's the loving, healing force of Mother Nature in action. Note the pigeon, surrounded by the feathers of the last bird stupid enough to forage on the ground. Over at the back, we have what I think was the reason.
(The pigeon did get away. If it had been a London city pigeon, that would have been a terrible pity, but probably better for the fox's health.)
Liz's new G4 800MHz Quicksilver is unbelievably shiny and looks like it was left by aliens with vastly superior design sense. I shall be departing to
allezbleu's in about an hour, sadly minus my tired and ill darlings.

Date: 2005-08-06 12:27 pm (UTC)Cats, despite being much smaller, will happily see off a fox in their yard — defending one's home versus just checking out a yard is no contest. I think we're getting this one show up again because Arkady's cat when he visited saw off the other local cats pretty viciously (I had to rescue one he cornered!), so they don't come here at all any more, so it's fox-safe. So if you get a large duck-safe cat with a stroppy disposition to intruders ...
