Er, yes, where was I. [livejournal.com profile] bmovie's third anniversary (Return of the Living Dead) was fabulous. [livejournal.com profile] arkady's camera was near-infallible (even the zombie princess shot of Fae Emily came out well, even though it looked awful on the camera), pumping out instant icons like nobody's business. Arkady looked like the fearsome cyber girl she soon hopes to be — someone who may not fix your computer, but fix you instead. Some people really went for the theme. Clive Dolphin actually showed his face in public! I looked like the trashed old queen I am — I stay on the other side of the lens for a reason. (Though I've still got great legs and arse and get the chicks.) [livejournal.com profile] ali_anarres and [livejournal.com profile] daneel_olivaw have finally worked it out. [livejournal.com profile] cookwitch was so pretty! [livejournal.com profile] duranorak was even more startlingly beautiful than her usual startlingly beautiful, but she doesn't do photos so you'll have to take my word for it. They had no real ale on tap, but [livejournal.com profile] hairyears put me onto the Staropramen, which is alarmingly drinkable Czech lager. *pint* to all!

I woke up alive this morning. Arkady put the pics up and I helped her with the housework. Then I came home to help [livejournal.com profile] redcountess with the garden. The bird feeder has been moved, the trees have been trimmed, assorted rubbish has been cleaned up, the early evening cat chess has been observed and now I'm lying down with my back hating me. Though the exercise thing is helping the back tremendously.

I'm not so keen on that photo of me - this one (http://arkady.fotopic.net/p19995947.html)'s much better, IMO.

Have you checked with Alison that she doesnt mind her picture online? She is sometimes sensitive about these things - particularly associating her real name with her anonymous ids (which you didnt do :-)

I kind of feel better now about missing B-Movie yesterday because I got loads done today instead.

Hmmm, I wonder how many vinyl records SwissTone actually does have and whether it is more than me. I suppose if we could singles too then he will probably beat me.

Cool. Sorry for being paranoid.

It was my camera, so she knows where they'd end up and that photos on my fotopic account are usually labelled with real names, where known. I have other photos of her at previous B-Movies also on fotopic which she is well aware of I believe, and she's on my flist so is perfectly capable of asking me to take them down or change the captions if she so wishes.

She's also perfectly aware (as is everyone who attends B-Movie) that every photo Diva or I take ends up online. Certain people request we don't photograph them ([livejournal.com profile] duranorak for example), and we acceed to their wishes. It's quite obvious that she deliberately posed for those shots, which would tend to indicate she was perfectly happy with the thought of the pictures appearing online afterwards.

She's also more than capable of speaking up for herself!

Yeah, I am perfectly happy for you or Diva to put up photos of me. Alex and I have known each other for years through Sf fandom, and he's been party to me whinging about fannish people linking my real name and image with my online persona, so I imagine that's why he brought it up.

It was lovely to talk to you last night! I must make a habit of going to B Movie again :o)

Thank you for looking out for me! But fear not, I'm more than happy for Diva or Arkady to put my photo online. Especially when I am actually looking pretty :o)

I missed you at B Movie, was hoping you'd come along.

I think there may be some exaggeration on Diva's part. My vinyl collection certainly cannot hold a candle to the late [livejournal.com profile] andypop's.

I opened the trashed old queen picture, laughed a lot, and then told [livejournal.com profile] ladytabitha "Imagine Lucius Malfoy in drag after too many drinks" and turned the computer around to show her. I think I've scarred her for life. (She says you need to photoshop Dobby in there next to you, looking concerned.)

Yes, Staropramen is good. That and the Real Budweiser. The Czechs generally make good lager.

I haven't noticed the aftertaste, though come to think of it, Staro is a notch or two above.

Whenever I'm at the Water Rats (usually at a Club AC30 night), Staro tends to be my beer of choice. Either that or the hand-pumped real ale.

BOFHs? You mean the goth clubs are now full of fat blokes with UNIX Beards (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Unix+beard)?

Do they lose the UNIX beards, though? I'm imagining goth sysadmins with them and they look like bikies.

Don't know what I'd been drinking (fake blood?) but my teeth look quite frightening in that last one of me.

And you owe me the photo from last year :P

[livejournal.com profile] arkady's camera may be infallible, but your captioning skills leave a little to be desired. That's not [livejournal.com profile] twicezero in this photo with me, but [livejournal.com profile] drpete.

Would you be the person who commented anonymously on my Fotopic account then to that effect? (I do wish people would stop doing that - is it really too much effort to type a name in? I ignore all such anonymous comments on a matter of principle.)

Fair enough. Thus far all the anonymous comments have basically been duplicating things already mentioned on LJ; I'm seriously considering disabling the comments feature on my Fotopic account, as it's really serving no useful purpose at all beyond irritating me.
