I am forced to admit that my lovely new Future Designs Neo/Matrix-styled leather coat ([1], [2]) really is just too big for me. It's a size XXL and it falls off my shoulders. Bother.

I paid £300 for it a few weeks ago. If anyone of somewhat larger shoulders and/or chest would like to buy it from me, they can have it for £280. Or if you buy an XL, I'll swap it for this one and make up the difference in cost (they're everywhere, it seems, usually for £300-350) plus twenty quid for it being slightly worn.

Can't help on the coat I'm afraid but is that title from Elvis' 'In The Ghetto' by any chance?

Exercise harder? Insert tailored genes for better muscle growth? Posture training (adopting the right posture widens my shoulders by somewhere along the lines of "noticeably much")? Sleeving into a new body (darn, the reality of /Altered Carbon/ isn't here yet)? At least one suggestion should be workable, but may not be applicable.

He does! Well, occasionally. You know, at work. Anyway, I'm not complaining about it. :)

Do you think it would fit me?
I'm shorter than you, but I can't remember if I'm wider...

XL is comfortable and XXL is a bit too big, but not uncomfortable...

I might be, but I wouldn't want to promise as I'm trying to arrange something for Friday evening.
Otherwise, are you going to be in the Dev Sunday?

On a more useful note, I could dig out the name of the guy who relined my leather jacket, and see if he does alterations.
