Boo to 'Merkin Flu! Taking yesterday and today off has cost me £406 gross. Thankfully today I can almost move around, even if I still can't breathe clearly and my nose is dripping like a tap. (Boo to lack of Sudafed too.) Yesterday I was too out of it even to read LiveJournal. Eating five or six cloves of garlic last night appears to have helped, and today I'm gobbling all the sugar and chocolate I normally avoid.

My fresh install of Breezy is working nicely. Just that little bit slicker than Hoary in various ways. Hibernate now works well (if REALLY SLOWLY ... 45 seconds to sleep, 65 seconds to wake up — our Mac G4 suspends in two seconds and unsuspends in four), even if suspend doesn't. Now I just need a backports server with all the proprietary stuff on it. Page update some time or other.

The house is a pit, but I hope to remedy this slightly today. The kitaens are on crack as usual, but are pooing in the actual litter tray.

Does this mean that if your house is so messy that the litter tray is a particularly clean spot, the cats will shit there instead of elsewhere in the house because they can then be messing up somewhere clean?

Thought: should I bring Tom's litter tray with me? I know some cats really don't like sharing litter trays with others, and we don't want Neo to be frightened off from using his tray just when he's getting the hang of it.
