I took Friday and today off work for my birthday weekend, and the house has succumbed to what appears to be norovirus, straight from Whipps Cross A&E, our illustrious and much-loved local hospital and plague pit. Vomiting liquishits ahoy! And we all have it. Just the way to turn 43! Dealing with suburban dad problems.

nyecamden popped over yesterday and did some shopping. A lifesaver. Hopefully he won't come down with it in turn.

After dealing with cryonics advocates for the past week, I am coming to the conclusion that anyone who says "can you prove it isn't true?" or shows other prima facie evidence of not understanding the burden of proof fails at science, joined-up thinking and probably life.
