arkady and I went to the Dev last night. She was wearing her PVC catsuit and corset. I got some fantastic shots of her in it, but she's vetoed them all, so sorry! She brought the new Marius dolly, who was ridiculously popular. mr_eleganza came over and he and Arkady talked Viking reenactment. I went mad with my camera, getting pics of all the Dev Italians. I have no idea what it is about the Dev and Italian goths visiting London, but it sure is something. Help with names is most welcomed. Arkady was particularly pleased to see two old friends from when she started going to the Dev, Amandine and Angelique.

We stayed till we were kicked out some time after midnight and went in search of a night bus. We got on one who said he went to Euston. This was in fact stopping by Euston Square, so we ended up at Waterloo Bridge before noticing (and we were just a bit pished). We got out and Arkady got some spectacular shots with no flash (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) — her new camera is seriously impressive in low light. We eventually walked all the way back to Euston for an N73 home. Needless to say, we slept well. And fast.

Arkady's camera is a Premier DC5085 - generic Chinese thing, 5MP, just 70 quid from Maplin. No optical zoom, but after seeing its low light performance I'm seriously tempted to get one anyway. Takes SD or MMC cards, does MPEGs with sound.
