Give the kittens the same ultimatum I give my cats: any further outpouring of nightmare will lead to the house having two more Davy Crockett caps and a bit more taco meat in the refrigerator. I now know that they understand English after all, especially after I showed Tramplemaine a Davy Crockett cap to illustrate the threat.

I'm thinking of making them into glove puppets, one grey and one black. We'll keep the heads on for theatrical purposes.

Have you tried things like citrus peel and orange peel in their favourite peein' places? it was suggested when I was looking for solutions when Mystery would pee *anywhere*, tho she had a bladder problem that meant she got caught short, so whilst it discouraged her a bit, she would go near it out of need.

I've been desperately looking for citrus-based cleaner, which worked fantastically well in Melbourne.

I'm sure I've seen some in either ASDA or Sainsbury's. I did notice today that Daz do a citrus scented washing powder, so citrus based stuff does exist to some degree.

I'm sure you've heard of this but have you ever thought of giving Feliway a go? It worked very well with my two cats when they went to live with my mum and developed some rather unpleasant habits (which you sound so familiar with:-)).

It may not be suitable for your two as they are kittens and I cannot say whether the inappropriate toilet habits are down to feline "stress". It goes without saying that your vet could advise you better than I.
