buh. zzz. Off work again today. (Picture £££ taking wing and flying off into the sunset.) Taking opportunity to visit doctor for several grossly overdue reviews, one of which they actually included a nag letter about with my last prescription refill.
quiet000001 has cancelled for tonight, as her body decided staying awake all night in pain was a much better idea than going out. I might have time today to get the house to suck less. British Gas might actually show up today (why is it I have no faith in this?) and might actually get things so we can turn on the boiler. Cats doing fine. Must buy dishwasher salt.
INTRAVENOUS CAFFEINE. NOW.

Date: 2006-01-13 01:12 pm (UTC)I reckon the reason British gas are so unreliable is nothing to do with the management not being able to organise a piss up in a brewery and the staff spending all their time in the pub. All that is a distraction from their highly organised boiler nobbling activities.

Date: 2006-01-13 01:46 pm (UTC)The British Gas guy did in fact show up, checked the boiler thoroughly and said it was working perfectly, couldn't find a smidgeon of CO and confirmed it was the detector going crap. The boiler is back on. WE HAVE HEAT!!
