buh. zzz. Off work again today. (Picture £££ taking wing and flying off into the sunset.) Taking opportunity to visit doctor for several grossly overdue reviews, one of which they actually included a nag letter about with my last prescription refill. [livejournal.com profile] quiet000001 has cancelled for tonight, as her body decided staying awake all night in pain was a much better idea than going out. I might have time today to get the house to suck less. British Gas might actually show up today (why is it I have no faith in this?) and might actually get things so we can turn on the boiler. Cats doing fine. Must buy dishwasher salt.

INTRAVENOUS CAFFEINE. NOW.

It seems the time of year for catastrohpic boiler death. Mine went on the blink a few weeks back (fortunately easy to fix), now my mate Nuz's and yours... this is highly suspicious.

I reckon the reason British gas are so unreliable is nothing to do with the management not being able to organise a piss up in a brewery and the staff spending all their time in the pub. All that is a distraction from their highly organised boiler nobbling activities.

Yeah, I know science says it's winter that causes boilers to go wrong, but that's just a smokescreen created by "them". I know the real truth, it's a conspiracy I tell you!

...good news about the lack of CO from the boiler though :)

It's called "winter". People use them more so they go bad more.

Hence why you should try to have them serviced in late summer/autumn.

What you need is the "Run Lola Run" soundtrack. And Caffeine.

It's been getting so cold here that I actually got to turn off the a/c for a couple days. It's back on now though. :-(
