It's a hundred and six miles to Chicago.
May. 22nd, 2006 11:09 pmElwood the rat died this afternoon, of what appears to have been a massive stroke.
arkady noticed him being agitated in his tank (having a seizure) and picked him up out of the cage, and he died thirty seconds later, safe in his mum's hands.
Elwood investigating Eric.
Elwood and Jake were rescue rats that were landed on Arkady about a year ago. They were probably about eighteen months to two years old. This icon is Jake and Elwood on Arkady's shoulder.
We'll be cleaning the rat cage and putting it away again soon. Please hold off with the rescue rats until we've moved! If
quiet000001 moves to the US soon, I can see us suddenly adopting her furballs ...

Date: 2006-05-22 11:19 pm (UTC)I'm not sure when I'm actually moving, but I'm heading back sometime in August for at least a visit, so if you guys are feeling rat-deprived, you can certainly rat-sit for me then. :)
