Today I got an Ixus i in the post. Just a camera and belt case, I'll need at least a charger and USB cable before I can sell it. And in the meantime it's mine to play with. Damn, this thing is tiny. Here it is next to my Ixus 50 and the Ixus 400 I just sold:
The 400 went for £90, which isn't bad. I need to work out how to publicise better. Must put more stuff up — I have an EX-S1, EX-S2 and two 430s here ready to eBay.
I now have root on reddragdiva.co.uk's server; what I don't have is any way to remotely restart it. Gah! The site's been set up on the non-deprecated server, now I just need to get the data onto it from the old site (learning at the deep end how to back up and restore Coppermine) and repoint the DNS.
One day I will have something to post about other than cameras and photos. Not soon. Oh,
redcountess just watched the last episode of The West Wing and is already desperately after the DVDs. And
arkady has just brought her laptop to life with one of the formerly-thought-dead DeathStars and is downloading the Dodgy Duck as I write this.

Date: 2006-06-08 05:00 am (UTC)The entire series is a 52.5GB torrent -- six seasons of DVDRips and season 7 of HDTVrips.
Surely this can't even be worth 20 pounds worth of DVDR to save to disk, much less buy on DVD.

Date: 2006-06-10 03:58 am (UTC)C'mon David, all the cool kids are doing it....
No rips with crap sound would last on a decent tracker without getting nuked.
And DVD have things like startup screens, and ads(!), that you can't fast forward past.
It's TV -- it should be free as air...
... Now they bring me my air in an iron tank.
