I was particularly enthralled to see the protests of oppression of gay men by the people they treat like shit, and calling the article content "tired old stereotypes" when every line was based on multiple real incidents. I wonder where stereotypes come from.

In the late 60s and earliest 70s, some gay guys in NYC were even into cunt calling like the straight boys. You had to realize that if you were on St. Marks Place, the cunt calling was about your evil and repressive refusal to fuck any male who wanted you; west of 6th Avenue, the cunt calling was about how unattractive you were because you weren't male.

But male oppression is ever so much more serious than oppressing anyone else, because they're more sensitive and important and valuable and will either drum or march for hours depending on orientation if anyone disagrees with them.

I'm slowly opening up around cameras. Having had more body-image squicks than you can imagine, it took a while!

Actually, I was feeling *very* laid-back that night-I had a few drinks in me, I'd had something to eat for the first time in about a day and a half, and I was in good company.
