Gay Pride is today's Uncyclopedia featured article, with a record number of support votes. And I am apparently an emotionally damaged lesbian. Go me!

Today has been unexciting, but we did have a lovely visit from [livejournal.com profile] eyeliner297 in the evening. Of course I got photos.

Young girlie with vodka; young girlie with intarweb; the Manx cat we saw on the way back from the station.

According to the FAQ, you can lick their nipples.

Fuzzy nipples, though.

Yes, I read the FAQ.

Combine the two - put the keyboard on the teddy babe! Does w0rngness add or multiply?

But at least that way no real human has to find themselves in the ludicrous position of wearing the fucking thing.

And again I say, at least no real human is suffering that fate. "Are you blogging this?"

Gee, some people are just so touchy

You know you're not homophobic when you can decide you like this individual person but that other individual person is a screaming flaming idiot.

Oh, it has been worse....

In the late 60s and earliest 70s, some gay guys in NYC were even into cunt calling like the straight boys. You had to realize that if you were on St. Marks Place, the cunt calling was about your evil and repressive refusal to fuck any male who wanted you; west of 6th Avenue, the cunt calling was about how unattractive you were because you weren't male.

But male oppression is ever so much more serious than oppressing anyone else, because they're more sensitive and important and valuable and will either drum or march for hours depending on orientation if anyone disagrees with them.

I'm up way too late to be nice. Your article has gotten funnier and funnier. Just saw the God of Pride photo.

You look very at ease - that can be difficult with portrait photography, most people get very stressed when a giant camera is shoved in their faces. *remembers bmovie where you ended up yelling 'stop taking pictures' at me ;-)*

You seem to have a natural affinity with Diva as photographer and open up a lot more. :-)

Bribery _and_ intoxication! This line of model negotiation hadn't occurred to me, tbh - will have to give it a try. :-)

I was probably joking!

I'm slowly opening up around cameras. Having had more body-image squicks than you can imagine, it took a while!

Actually, I was feeling *very* laid-back that night-I had a few drinks in me, I'd had something to eat for the first time in about a day and a half, and I was in good company.

That makes all the difference with pictures - I try to capture people unawares, they look so much more natural and happy then.

I know what you mean about cameras though - I used to hate the things, but after much photo-therapy I can just about stand having my picture taken. :-)

It may amuse you to know that on the polish one, instead of 'edit', it says vandalise. :)

the article on the Czechs is quite good, but the one on the 'Czech film festival' is ACE.

man, I've just got round to reading the gay pride article. bits of which are hilarious.
particularly the use of the phrase queer-bashing nazi.

seriously though, is there generally a tendency towards misogyny among gay men? or rather, more so than among men of all sexual orientation?

Thank you for that link!
And a good reminder that I should go and get another coffee now (on one an hour methinks...)
