Last night's pics. Policy. Please comment here or on the site with any missing names (I asked everyone I didn't know and promptly forgot.)

I arrived at 9pm. [livejournal.com profile] arkady was already there, having come straight from the 6pm Rocky Horror showing. Her riding crop and velvet boots went down very well.

First lot of shots with the Ixus 50, then a flat battery and no spare so I switched to the Ixus i. I definitely like the results from the older DIGIC processor (in the i) better than the newer DIGIC II (in the 50), even if the latter is a lot faster. The Ixus i is so tiny and cute and its only minus is the lack of optical zoom, which is why I really want to try out an Ixus i Zoom. The i was running flat by the time we left at 12:30am (Arkady had twisted her ankle and was in a fair bit of pain) and I'd have grabbed her Ixus 400 if we'd stayed. (There are two shots from it up as well — the great B-Movie sport: get a good pic of [livejournal.com profile] marchosias444, preferably in action!)

The air conditioning worked quite well. My throat feels like I've only smoked one pack rather than three. I predict future B-Movies will have queues and one-in-one-out by 10pm.

[livejournal.com profile] hirez and [livejournal.com profile] girfan broke through the M25 quantum barrier! It was most pleasing to see them both. They were surprised and pleased to discover that not only is B-Movie what goth clubbing was like before MDMA, it's the clubbers themselves. It's uk.people.gothic home night.

And, just received: a parcel from [livejournal.com profile] sclerotic_rings. Halloween in July!

My god I look demented in some of them! I quite like the shoe one, though, even if there is a bit of double-chinness going on.

You always get lovely ones of Helen-who is iscarily photogenic, I've always thought, a bit like [livejournal.com profile] sneerpout!

I should come and see you again soon.

That photo has a lot of red in it anyway, but as Diva suggested, you can buy a green base to put under foundation to reduce redness (he stole mine), I think Boots have one in their No. 7 line.

I'm glad there are names with most of the photos since I didn't know a portion of people and it's always nice to put a name to the face.

I get to London loads more than J, but the work/getting to London logistics on a weekday are not always good. Most people only have a bus or Tube ride to get there! There is a good chance we may do it again, but no idea when.

Not doable any time soon since we are now sans vehicle (see one of J's posts this evening).

I am probably quite relieved about the photos. Though I was wearing make-up, I wasn't the least bit glamourous last night. I brought nicer clothes and J said not to bother...so I didn't. At least I was comfortable!

Might be the M11? That comes down from the M25 to the North Circular... Personally I'd be tempted to come off the 25 at junction 26 and come through the countryside to Chingford, but that's only because when I did that last it seemed a lot quieter than the major routes usually do.

However, the underpass at junction 25 is currently being mucked around with, so the queues are absolutely horrendous around there; that's why I tried coming off at 26 last time I was coming counter-clockwise to [livejournal.com profile] _sugar_babe_ in Edmonton. Coming clockwise it might be wise to come off at J24, through Enfield, across the A10 to Chingford and then down.

Mind you, I see this is pretty moot! Ho-hum. Have my crazy travel suggestion for the day anyway.
