I didn't make Wimbledon today; it'll have to be tomorrow. I'll also have to swing by Morden to fetch the stuff I left there. Then Swarf in the evening, then new job Wednesday morning!

arkady is back next Monday, in time to stop home, exhale and primp for Bauhaus in the evening. Then she leaves a few days later for the Broadstairs Folk Week!

Much as I am for legalisation of cannabis, shrooms and other natural ingredients I am quite disturbed at the 'relative harm' rating of solvents and ecstasy...

Whether it's "natural" or not doesn't really come into it. Some natural stuff is obviously very bad for you..

Ecstasy will never be downrated as the newspapers will just dig up pictures of Leah Betts and people who's children died from it. The millions of people affected by alcohol, tobacco etc are not as photogenic or simplistic.

A drugs policy based on fact not hysteria would be really good ;)

I saw the drug classification article on the beeb site yesterday and had pretty much the same reaction, it wont happen because it would make sense. (Always remember 'the law is an ass, so cover yours' )
BTW did you download the paper itself which has the amusing title 'Drug clasification: making a hash of it?' obviously someone has a sense of humour ;)
