arkady is back and I am enormously happy. She has muscles, stamina and a tan. And claims exhaustion but is still bouncing around. This is good.

Today we have been househunting. One was a Warner flat on a top floor, which ruled it out because they all have stupidly steep stairs — which is a real pity, because it was a 3½ bedroom flat in the area of our present two-bedroom. The other would be nice if the top floor hadn't been the size of a box.

Strength Through Dreadnought was a top night out. I got about a zillion shotson the Ixus 50, then let irisetta near it. This was probably not a mistake, but her obsessive photographer crackpipe expression when she's framing a shot is certainly somewhat frightening. And to think I nearly brought the Ixus i as a spare! She did get a couple of decent ones of me, though. Katie, I have a couple of Ixus v or v2 here which take great shots as easily as that one and will be forty quid or less, so cheap enough not to worry too much over. I suspect your friends and loved one will be forcing you to get one from me so that they can have their cameras back.

The black, black and more black is a bit sp00ky. So last night's makeup was purple in theme. This actually worked really well.

How does Wednesday sound? I work in Richmond, so Walthamstow will prolly take around an hour to get to...how far are you from the station? if not too far, then could (in theory!) be with you for about 7.30... I'm off to Infest on Friday, so it'd be wicked to pick it up before then :) *gleeful cackle*

I have um (let's see) various Ixus v and v2 (same thing, v2 is a later model with nicer controls; both 2 megapixel). They take a Canon proprietary lithium-ion battery and use CompactFlash cards. If you have a CF reader that'd be just the thing. You'll need to buy a nice CF card for it, but memory cards cost Buggre-Alle these days (I just got a 2GB SD for thirty quid) and are best regarded as disposable. I'll see what accessories I have lying around.

I also have Ixus 400 and Ixus 430 here which are 4MP and would cost more cos they cost me more, but a v or v2 does very nice shots (examples Ixus v, Ixus v, Ixus v2).
