(I will not be making this B-Movie as it's my first night on call. Bah. And humbug!)

minusbat has asked that anyone who still hasn't received their money back from the April 2005 Whitby overselling please email them yet again — they thought they'd fixed them all, but there are people who still say they got nowhere — and he swears there are competent and sane people reading the email and trying to fix problems now. (Update: Whitby Gazette article.)

The house appears to still exist and the cats are all alive. eyeliner297 is Very Lovely Indeed. Even if, giving her a lift home, she turned out to have no idea whatsoever how to get from Walthamstow to Lewisham. And if trying to go through the Blackwall Tunnel, I discovered that it really does get hour-long traffic jams at midnight.

My illness appears to be a throat infection that I was doing a moderately good job of fighting off on the instalment plan, but there's a time and place for lots of antibiotics and that would be now in my lungs.
