redcountess and arkady are the best loved ones I could have. My Christmas conspiracy present finally arrived and I opened it today:
Both of them thought of it independently, and just as well because I had too. It presents as a plain USB audio device (the CD has nothing but a copy of Audacity and a manual for using it with Audacity), so should Just Work on any computer whatsoever with USB.
I'm going to have some fun, I think. Probably should lay out for a few large media-bucket hard drives ...
