*patpat*

We had about that much snow here, at Christmas.

OK, not *quite* here, but just over there. *waves vaguely north-eastwards a smidge*

We should really get you to a nice 2-month holiday in some place where snow happens regularly so you can get it out of your system.

Victoria gets decent snow fall in it's alpine region every winter/spring, which I've been to, but I still get a kick out of seeing snow falling in a city :)

I lived in Albany, NY, for two years

There's nothing like 18 inches of powder on April 18th to make a city look pretty and uninhabitable.

Philadelphia got 30 inches in January 1996, the first year I lived here. I take it London doesn't get that sort of thing.

I kept asking if that sort of snow happened every year and people said, "No!"

I'm going to miss the cemetery when we leave, although it will only be a short walk to St. Mary's.

Ooo, pretty pretty graveyard! This is from the home you're about to move out of, though, isn't it? The place may be falling down around your ears, but at least it has a lovely view.
