redcountess and arkady did the final pack and clean on the old hovel today, and now we write a nice letter to the landlard demanding our fucking deposit please kthx and not directly threatening him with the hounds of Hell. Though we may unleash them anyway. Today at work I pounded sodomising bats, and came home to discover the shiny new ISDN was broken. So I'm on dialup through the work VPN. Tonight the girls are listening to opera and I'm off to party with the goths.

So they fixed the ISDN and broke it again? Or was that the phone line? BT are outstanding, aren't they?

They installed the ISDN, then the landline didn't work, then the landline did work and the ISDN didn't, then I called in a fault on the ISDN, then they fixed it. I'm VPNed in on it as we speak. Fortunately, Zen wheedled BT into hooking up our DSL today rather than Wednesday, so shortly I will not be on ISDN. Phew!
