arkady and I went to Camden and had a lovely evening of food and drink at Bar Uno with faerierhona, madwitch (phwoar!) and vampwillow, with hazyjayne and damerell swinging by. Rhona bought the best shoes ever. Flash pics on the Ixus 50, particularly front-fill, look a lot nicer set to reduced saturation — see the Betty Ford pics for why this may be useful.
Yesterday we spent the day beating the crap out of the house, successfully reinforcing the wardrobe, filling it with clothes and putting boxes on top, and making headway on clearing the front room. Arkady now has lots of clothes to run through the wash. Cross fingers I can actually clear enough room in there tonight or tomorrow to arrange moving my records out of the storage locker so I can cancel the damn locker. Anyone got an estate car handy Wednesday or Thursday evening? 440kg, I figure that's two or three carloads.
I spent the rest of the weekend doing Wikimedia UK stuff. The old treasurer has been kicked off for inactivity (we don't even have a bank account right now), Arkady has been drafted to the board for the crime of flagrant cluefulness in public places (note also that Alison and jdforrester did the drafting, not me ... though everything enhances the cabalism) and made Treasurer, and James got the address and paperwork updates submitted to Company House. Now to start doing stuff with it again, particularly pushing the charity registration through.
Madam is going outside to do her business ("not the litter tray, Daddy! Please!") but is otherwise sticking to us like a purring limpet. She's also started acting like a stray cat at mealtimes ... hrrm.

i just never have any opportunities to wear them as i prefer not to wear shoes in the house and i wouldn't really want to WALK anywhere in them.
actually, i did wear the leopard/red ones for about an hour at whitby last april then realised i needed to scotchguard them and my feet were sore so i went back to the cottage to get ready for work.
