And you're listening to Radio Inferno.

blarglefiend, how is it for you?). If you run Coppermine and need this yourself, the plugin for 1.4.x is here. It'll be in 1.5, which is expected in the far future.May I recommend Radio Inferno (buy CD), featuring Einsturzende Neubauten and John Peel.
I'm currently sitting up in bed reveling in the luxury of boredom. It's a sunny day and we're all *splat*. I'm on call at six. Yay weekend!

Date: 2007-04-06 01:11 pm (UTC)I'm not sure whether I'm more impressed by the lovely locomotive or the Skoda Felicia Police escort. (Which is making me feel a tad guilty as I should be outside replacing the fan-belt on mine, not in here drinking coffee, eating Turkish ersatz wagon wheels and preusing LJ).

Date: 2007-04-06 01:57 pm (UTC)Just wanted to add, for everyone's amusement, that it is also archived at UBUWEB (http://www.ubu.com/), in their mp3 archive. Direct link here. (http://www.ubu.com/sound/ammer_radio.html)
They also have Andreas Ammer/FM Einheit's Crashing Aeroplanes, a controversial work involving the final radio transmissions of doomed flights. I have yet to listen to this, so I don't know how good it is.

Date: 2007-04-06 06:04 pm (UTC)Oh, for you: Cisco emulator for Debian - apparently only requires a small amount of kicking for Ubuntu.

Date: 2007-04-06 07:11 pm (UTC)I don't know whether I'm going to continue with the ccna. All the recent ubuntu drama makes me think I'll be a lot happier going back to local government. I missed the last week of term which means I'm technically not registered for the next semester (as I didn't complete) although it's easily fixable.
I've been a good 'crat today and have been dealt with the renaming backlog. I've also dyed my hair purple - but I didn't bleach it first so I dunno what it's going to look like.

Date: 2007-04-07 07:01 pm (UTC)Radio Inferno isn't really my kind of music (I'm more Radio 4) but the John Peel bits are rather good.

Date: 2007-04-07 09:23 pm (UTC)You can be snarky if you want but as you're not actually a women you won't f'ing see or experience it. As I lack self confidence anyway working a warzone may just make me sick.
IT may pay better but not if the higher paying jobs are closed to me :(
I'm actually pretty good at deal with fuckwittery and local government can be exciting if there's the political will to blow stuff up. Working in your community can be rewarding and as I'm not total shite you shine pretty quickly.
