I have considerable personal experience of the application of the "Fuck You" clause, but I'm after examples outside my sphere of knowledge.

The sooner the RICO laws are applied to the US recording industry, the better. Sadly, due to the deep and endemic political corruption, that's not going to happen.

They've been applied to the RIAA repeatedly for price-fixing. Usually with pathetic and difficult-to-claim settlements.

If I sell any of my CDs, I do so on Amazon, Ebay or LJ selling communities (or my own LJ).

After having to track down CDs stolen from me and seeing how easily a thief can resell them to shops (the thief used an address that was that of an empty building), I wouldn't mind better steps made for proof of identity/address and ownership of the items. But what the link has is much more draconian rules.
