If opium was good enough for the Victorians, then telly is good enough for us, and that applies to Flash as well. It's GODDAMN CRACK for babies. We've been pacifying Freda with all sorts of fabulously suitable material:

Assume that your darling offspring is really pushing it. What works for you?

My fetus stops kicking VERY suddenly if I sing loud rock songs :)

Not sure if that is appreciation or horror...

Then maybe she IS horrified, & wants Beethoven.

I had the option of a free Bridgewater Hall ticket for some Beethoven this weekend, but I'm not sure I can sit still without peeing for that long :(

So, I'm taking the 'go to work drinks' option, because there I can go pee (& flake out & go home to bed) as early as I like.

Weebl has always been my boppy music + bright colors chill out website, can't even imagine how stimulating those animations are to a wee baby! Are you getting Freda a little tiger or lion? :3

I usually threaten them with cannibalism. It's not very successful. The older one stares at me fearfully and the younger one laughs, then bites me.

P made this basic animation of our family's faces on coloured backgrounds, which Dali is absolutely fascinated by :) He also likes these Welsh language games.

I feel compelled to mention that, in fact, tigers do not exist in Kenya, as they are from Asia.

Just wanted to clear this up before Freda fails a test on it or something.

Jesus and Mary Chain, Erasure, Echo and the Bunnymen. But not Muse, sadly.

As for watchies, she liked Hot Fuzz and she watches Eastenders without much complaint.

And when she's at her worst, Sebastian sings silly songs to her and that fixes it unless she's decided she's in too much pain for anything to work...

too right! Just wish I could somehow record him being all spontaneous so that when he's not here I can play it for her - then again, I have two albums full of his old band singing ...
