Miracleman is not out of the woods yet. But there is new hope of the story being finished before Gaiman dies. And after following it for twenty years I can see how the damn story ends.

because a) he's a jackass and b) a bad writer to boot. He was part of a sex scandal some years ago (can't remember the exact name) but anyway he lied about it, got caught, and is now in prison.

Sheesh, I'd just like to be able to read the _beginning_. I can find a few random issues at the local (exceptionally good) comic shop, but that's it... Very frustrating, since it sounds really good and has been recommended by all kinds of people.
