Bisexual Underground yesterday evening was a wonderful night out (pub, nice people, nice beer) and I shall be attending again. Mmm yes. Particular cheers to spikeylady, pndc, barakta and valkyriekaren.

I found myself at a table of knitters and gained sudden insight into how normal people feel when computer geeks get going. (redcountess says: "Knitting is the new smoking.")

I also got to be an Expert On Polyamory. This is a frightening concept because I really can't think of any wisdom to offer beyond "be excellent to one another." And "don't fuck up terminally." Yeah. Do those and you'll be fine.

I woke up this morning realising why five and a half pints on a school night (my usual limit is four) is not such a hot idea.

The wife is a knitter too (I was the one Matt gave the ball of yarn to at Poly Day and keep meaning to make it to BU but have spoon issues), as is the g/f (the baby has a lot of handknitted things made by Mum, but not by stepmum as I never seem to finish anything!)

TBH, I was more worried about you guys being disturbed by having a loud, drunk Australian at the table :) (David says hmmph!)

Made me giggle.. Read it to Gem.. had to do a double take as she came out with 'sounds like fun'.. doesn't really shock me as I half expect it from her, I think she just wants another Girlie around... in fact scratch that as I've just asked her and I got 'is that such a crime?!' back.

The hard part appears not to be the multiple people, but one's loved one's multiple people. The key question is: when you are woken up by your dearest loved one in the world shagging someone else, do you think (a) "My heart is being ripped in two" (b) "I'm so glad they're happy" or (c) "Bloody shut up willya, I'm trynna sleep!"? If (b) or (c), it might be a possibility.
