Today's monumental yak-shaving is reripping my CDs to FLAC, from whence I may rerip to anything convenient as I please. With hard disks these days, this is just fine.

One day we will get all our washing both washed and dried. There's one clothes horse that's been outside full for a week now.
redcountess has half rebuilt the spare room so we can fit a spare bed in it for the girls visiting in a week. We found all manner of previously lost things ... some of that stuff's been in boxes for two years. Or was it four?
