I have insomnia again. Really badly since BiCon. I have to be up and relatively alive at 7:30am for work on Monday, which I'm already really not looking forward to.

I haven't read LiveJournal in two weeks and owe several people comments and emails. What have you been up to?

On the topic of sodomy, you may have seen this, or not, but I think you will enjoy it:

I like Chrome, but it has no extensions and thus no adblock so I wont be using it til that changes.

I think I owe you more than a few rocknerd bits, btw.

This morning I managed to sort of confuse Hans Reiser with Sid Vicious. Playing bass and strangling people to death are related skills, you see.

Sadly, this revelation has likely come too late to benefit NotN.

If I was drinking tea right now -- let me assure you -- it would be squirting from my nostrils right now. :->

I've been baking! Lots and lots of bread, and tonight also cookies.

Sadly, despite all this floury activity, I have not yet managed to come up with a good joke contrasting Laura Bush's cowboy cookies with Bristol Palin's bun in the oven, and I should probably stop trying.

Ummm. I finally got my passport back from the Home Office with a lovely new Tier 1 (General) Migrant Visa in it, so in celebration of my new freedom from the need for a Work Permit to stay here I gave notice at my job.

Next stop, World Domination! umm, err dunno, a contracting job or someing I think, now I'm free to try my hand at being paid more for the same boring work I do currently as a permanent employee

Well, I had an interview with the Dallas Morning News last Saturday about the plants, and I'm just waiting for it to come out. How about you?
