The house is largely ready for teenagers. Thank fuck. Today's valiant heroes are stilkil and vatine, who moved boxes and vacuumed and brought a crossbrace for the shelves. Now all we need to do is get the clothes off the bed. And sort through the boxes we just took upstairs without sorting through.

I am not going to the party this evening, I am utterly buggered and the weather is vile. Quiet night in with redcountess with the cat trying to sit on the keyboard, I think.

Well, the top of the monitor is a better crouching place, but I think reddragdiva unreasonably uses a laptop, so not good perch estate at the screen top.

My cat sulked for months when I went and bought an iMac! She did keep trying to perch on it anyway, and she's not a big cat, but she never got the knack of it. I've never been forgiven...

We have some radiator hammocks. Though I don't know that Tabs will consider that hanging off the back of my screen entirely stable enough for comfort.
